•  Sixteen (16) wanted for Breaking and entering / Burglary/Home Invasion

               •  Fifty-one (51) wanted for Felony assault, including Firearms related assaults.

                   The  R.I.  Violent  Fugitive  Task  Force  brought  additional  criminal  charges  on

                   persons  for  Firearms,  narcotics,  resisting  arrest  and  obstruction  of  justice.
                   Members  seized  multiple  firearms  and  drugs  during  these  investigations.

                   Members  arrested  multiple  subjects  for  escape  and  home  confinement.  R.I.
                   VFTF also assisted numerous Federal Agencies as well as RISP HIDTA, Major

                   Crimes  Units  in  support  of  High-Risk  Law  Enforcement  /Fugitive  Recovery
                   Operations.


                   Out of State Fugitive tracking Collateral Investigations


               •  Jorge Ortiz RIAG/BCI Multiple firearms possession/Domestic assault warrants
                   extradition  petitioned  and  submitted  for  both  North  Carolina  and  Texas  and

                   later  updated  to  Nationwide  approved  following  an  extensive  fugitive  recovery
                   investigation several attempts / interviews conducted in Rhode Island starting
                   back  in  May  of  2019.    Information  developed  and  search  warrant  executed

                   revealed  likely  out  of  state  residency.  Attempts  made  in  both  North  Carolina
                   and  Texas  in  2020  were  negative  following  a  collateral  Fugitive  tracking  case

                   through U.S. Deputy Marshal Moore was forwarded. Updated attempts revealed
                   the  information  to  be  accurate  as  he  had  fled  likely  to  Minnesota.  Fugitive

                   recovery and follow up is currently pending.
               •  20RIX1-632-AR Trebor Mims a fugitive case tracking investigation was initiated

                   following  the  issue  of  an  Affidavit  and  Arrest  warrant  for  first  degree  armed
                   robbery with a handgun.  Information was received that he had likely fled to the
                   Dorchester suburb of Boston Massachusetts. Mims has an extensive gang and

                   weapons  history  there.    Surveillance  was  initiated  at  last  known  address  of
                   record in Rhode Island which were negative. Extradition was petitioned for and

                   granted  for  Massachusetts  through  the  RIAG  Office  and  entered  in  NCIC.  A
                   fugitive  tracking  collateral  package  was  prepared  and  turned  over  to  U.S.
                   Deputy Marshal C.J. Wyant for forwarded it to Massachusetts Marshals Office.

                   In  follow  up  information  resulting  from  surveillance  and  interviews  in
                   Massachusetts, that Mims had returned to RI.  A new series of interviews/and

                   surveillance  was  conducted  that  confirmed  those  facts.  A  fugitive
