Advanced Open Water Training
Newer members of URT began the process
of obtaining their PADI Advanced Open
Water certification through a certified
instructor. These trainings took place at
Beach Pond in Exeter.

Upon learning they were going to be given more
access to the harbormaster boat for URT duties, the
team upgraded the safety and communication
equipment and also fixed several other issues on
the boat. In 2019, URT members were able to utilize
the department’s boat for trainings and call outs.
URT continues to be responsible for the
maintenance and upkeep of the city’s only law
enforcement boat, which also serves as the city’s
harbormaster vessel.
