• 567 pieces of narcotics were stored in the BCI drug room) arrangements
are being made to destroy these drugs).
• 15 vehicles were processed. Fingerprints were developed on 6 of those
vehicles. Blood evidence was obtained from 1 of those vehicles.
• 38 pieces of evidence were processed for latent prints. Latent prints
were developed on 12 of those pieces of evidence.
• 108 firearms were processed.
• 23 bullets and casings were sent to the R.I. State Crime lab for NIBIN
entry. Several NIBIN hits were obtained from those submitted.
• $41,064.00 in currency was seized and submitted into the Currency
Room.
• $5,690.00 in counterfeit money was seized and stored in the currency
room.
• 21 pieces of DNA evidence were submitted to R.I. Health Dept. for testing.
• 8 Cell phones were forensically examined.
• 435 Prosecution requests were handled.
• 290 cases involving narcotics were submitted to the Rhode Island DOH for
testing.
• 150 appointments for civilian fingerprints were scheduled, of which 115
civilians were fingerprinted. Due to COVID, we experienced a decline in
requests.
• 20 Background checks were conducted.
