A private donor generously provided initial funding for C.A.L.I. to the Aubin Center at

Hasbro Children’s Hospital. The yearly cost for food, grooming, and veterinary services

are split between the Cranston Police Department and Hasbro Children’s Hospital.

SVU took over alcohol/tobacco compliance checks throughout the City of Cranston in

December 2021. This is funded by the Department of Behavioral Healthcare,

Developmental Disabilities and Hospitals, and the Cranston Comprehensive

Community Action Program (CCAP). Operations resulted in the following:
