The Cranston Police K-9 unit has completed another year of
service, even though the year of 2020 presented many
challenges to police work, as well as the K-9 unit. The
unprecedented pandemic limited public relations activity within
the community. Whereas the K-9 Unit typically averages
twenty-five canine demonstration a year, 2020 only allowed us
the opportunity for seven demonstrations, due to the lock downs and closing of
schools and community events.
