Federal Forfeiture Statistics:

• $76,003.56 was shared with the Cranston Police Department through the

Federal Forfeiture Equitable Sharing Program in 2022, with several cases

still pending sharing decisions.

FBI Safe Streets Task Force Activity for 2022

Continuing in the CY 2022, a member of the Special Investigations Unit was

assigned with the elite FBI Safe Streets Task Force (SSTF). During this time, our

investigator was involved in several large, long-term investigations. Many of these

cases included the participation of the Special Investigations Unit. These and other

cases resulted in the following statistics for the year.

FBI SSTF 2022 Year End Statistics:

74 SSTF led video recorded buys in which over $75,000 was spent resulted in the

seizure of:

• 110 g crack cocaine

• 850 g fentanyl

• 2000+ fentanyl pills

• 1000 g crystal meth

• 4 firearms

27 Arrests and 17 Search Warrants (Not including Search Warrants for phones,

packages, GPS. Etc.) were executed which resulted in the seizure of:
