The unit was also responsible for following up on initial reports taken by the Uniform

Division dealing with not only sexually based offenses, but also vandalism, family

offenses, and runaways.

The unit conducted 494 activities that directly related to the maintenance and supervision of the

Sex Offender Registry for the City of Cranston. During 2022, Detective Daryl Fish, of the

Special Victims Unit, initiated 55 sex offender community notifications for level two and three
